Editorial policy
This page sets the standards every ranking and review on Campaign Buyer is held to. If a page ever breaks one of these rules, it is a mistake, and telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
What we publish
We only recommend a tool after we have read what long-term users report about it, worked through its documentation and pricing, and verified the price with the vendor, and we only quote a user after we have read the thread the quote came from. Every ranked pick names at least one real drawback, including the tool we rank first. A verdict with no stated cost has not been researched hard enough to publish.
What we will not publish
We do not run sponsored posts, paid placements or vendor-written copy dressed as a review. We do not invent quotes, statistics, prices or people. A quote is a verbatim excerpt with a link, never a paraphrase in quotation marks. Where we cannot verify a claim, we say so rather than round it up.
Money and rankings are separated
We earn a commission on some of the links here, and we say which. That relationship never buys a position, a better verdict, or the removal of a named drawback. Rankings are ordinal and follow the rubric published at how we research. Several tools we cover pay us nothing and are still ranked on merit. Full detail on the funding is on how we make money.
Prices and freshness
Every price is checked against the vendor and dated on the page. Prices move, so we revisit the money pages roughly every 90 days and log the change in a dated note. A price you see here without an "as of" date has not been published.
Corrections
If we get a fact wrong, we correct it and date the change on the page rather than editing quietly. Send anything you think is wrong through our contact page and we will look at it.
