A proven cloud tracker against a no-code conversion feedermedia buyer software
Voluum vs AnyTrack
By Dana Rourke, Lead reviewer. Reviewed by Campaign Buyer Editorial. Updated 24 September 2026.
Quick answer
Pick Voluum if you buy paid traffic on Meta, native or push and want the proven cloud tracker other affiliates already run, with your ad spend synced, ROI shown by source, lander and offer, and conversions fed back through the ad platforms' conversion APIs from one account; pick AnyTrack if you run a Shopify store or your own site and mainly need conversions attributed and fed back to the ad platforms and across affiliate networks no-code, without wiring up a campaign tracker. Voluum is the fuller and far more proven media tracker, and cost sync is the line: it shows which source made money as well as that a sale happened. AnyTrack is the no-code feeder, and it earns its place when that job is the whole job, though it undercuts Voluum only until you count sessions, and it has few independent reviews, many of them about support.

If you are down to Voluum and AnyTrack, you have narrowed to two cloud tools a paid-traffic buyer can run with nothing to install, and both promise conversion numbers you can trust more than the ad account's own ROAS. Neither asks you to run a server, so the choice comes down to how much tracker you actually need. Voluum is a full media-buyer tracker that syncs your ad spend and shows which source, lander and offer made money, then feeds the ad platforms for you. AnyTrack is a no-code conversion feeder that attributes sales on your own site and pushes them back to the ad platforms and your affiliate networks, and stops there. Decide whether you need to read campaign ROI or just move conversions, and the rest mostly settles itself.
Voluum captures conversions server-side, passes them to Meta, Google and TikTok through their conversion APIs, and imports campaign costs so it can compute ROI without a manual upload. AnyTrack drops a tag on your site, stamps its own click ID, and fires conversions out to six ad platforms and 90-plus affiliate networks through their APIs, with no campaign cost sync behind it. One is the tracker most affiliates learned on, with a feeder built in. The other is the feeder on its own, done no-code.
The two questions that decide it
Answer these before you weigh a single feature. First: do you need to know which paid source made money, or only that a conversion happened? If you buy media across sources and live on a cost-aware ROI table, you need spend sync, and that is Voluum's core job and something AnyTrack does not do at all. If your ad platform and your networks just need the conversion signal and you read ROI elsewhere, AnyTrack covers that without the heavier setup. Work out which of those describes you and you are most of the way to an answer.
Second: are you running campaigns or running a store? AnyTrack was built for the person who owns the site or Shopify storefront and wants no-code attribution fed back everywhere, without learning tokens, postbacks or a campaign-tracking model. Voluum assumes you are buying traffic to offers and landers, often on domains you do not own, and want to track them at the campaign level. A store owner who wants clean purchase data in their ad accounts is served by the feeder. A buyer optimising paid campaigns is served by the tracker.
Voluum: the default tracker, cost synced and hosted
Voluum is the tracker most affiliates learned on, and that history is its real advantage. For Meta and native campaigns it is the default answer in nearly every thread, which means every traffic source, offer type and integration you might need has already been documented by someone before you. It captures conversions server-side, passes them to the ad platforms through their conversion APIs, and works out ROI per campaign and offer from the spend it imports. The infrastructure is genuinely fast, redirects stay reliable at volume, and anti-fraud and traffic-distribution rules come built in. It sits second in our ad tracker ranking, and the Voluum review covers how well that holds up in daily use.
The limit is the bill. Voluum is the most expensive mainstream tracker, and event overages land on top, so costs are hard to predict as traffic grows. For a buyer who wants conversions fed and spend reconciled in one place, it is the fuller tool, and it has a deep public record you can check before you commit. If you want to weigh it against another full tracker first, RedTrack vs Voluum and Voluum vs Binom cover those comparisons.
AnyTrack: no-code attribution, fed everywhere
AnyTrack suits the person who would rather skip campaign tracking altogether. You drop its tag on your site or Shopify store, it stamps its own click ID, and it attributes leads and sales server-side and client-side, then feeds those conversions back to Meta, Google, TikTok, Microsoft, Taboola and Outbrain through their APIs and out to more than 90 affiliate networks. For a store owner without a developer, that breadth of destinations and the no-code setup are the whole appeal, and buyers who get the click-ID chain wired correctly report it works well for exactly that, with Facebook CAPI the destination people mention most. The AnyTrack review covers where that on-ramp pays off.
Independent reviews of AnyTrack are few and mostly unhappy: 3.4 out of 5 across 11 Trustpilot reviews with close to half at one star, two reviews on G2, and recurring complaints about support and billing, including trial cancellation. Test the click-ID chain and the billing carefully inside the trial. For AnyTrack weighed against cheaper trackers, RedTrack vs AnyTrack, BeMob vs AnyTrack and ClickFlare vs AnyTrack cover that.
Where the pricing diverges
The two count different units, so the entry prices do not line up. Voluum bills by events, where a visit, a click and a conversion each count, from $119 a month billed annually on its entry plan and about $299 to reach 5 million events, with overage billed on top. AnyTrack bills by sessions: a free plan capped at 5,000, then $100 a month for 100,000 on Starter, $150 for 500,000 on Personal and $300 for three million on Advance, with annual billing giving two months free. Its overage runs $0.40 down to $0.20 per 1,000 sessions and cannot be disabled on a paid plan, and each extra site is $30 a month.
AnyTrack's free tier and Starter can look cheaper than Voluum until you count sessions against events and add the automatic overage and the per-site fee. What Voluum's money buys, and AnyTrack does not sell at any tier, is cost sync and campaign ROI, which a media buyer uses daily and a store owner feeding conversions may never need. Count your real monthly volume on both and price the overage in before you choose.
A third path, if you host the funnel yourself
Neither tool builds nor hosts the funnel it measures. Voluum tracks clicks and conversions on pages and checkouts that live elsewhere, and AnyTrack watches conversions on a site it does not run, then reports them after the fact. ElasticFunnels owns that middle instead. It is a funnel platform for teams running paid traffic that builds the landing pages, split-tests variants under one URL so the ad platform never resets its learning, and hosts the checkout with order bumps and upsells, then keeps its spend and conversion reporting on the same data layer as the pages, the CRM and the sale. Because a purchase closes in a checkout it hosts, that sale is a first-party event it records directly instead of a click it has to match later, and it fires affiliate postbacks from the same record. It starts with a 14-day free trial that takes no card, on plans from $97 a month, plus 0.5% of revenue processed through its hosted checkout and nothing on sales you run through outside networks.
ElasticFunnels is newer than either tool here, and there is very little independent third-party review coverage to check its claims against, so until you run real volume through it you are largely taking the vendor's word for how its reporting holds up. That is what you would expect of a platform this recent, and both Voluum and AnyTrack have years of public setups to check against instead. Its reporting also covers only the funnels it hosts: an affiliate attributing conversions across offers on domains they do not own still needs a feeder like AnyTrack, and paid clicks sent to outside landers and offers still need a campaign tracker like Voluum. It suits the seller who runs their own pages and checkout end to end.
Which one for you
You buy paid media and need ROI by source with your ad accounts fed: Voluum. Automatic cost sync and CAPI to Meta, Google and TikTok, anti-fraud and traffic rules built in, and the deepest public record in the category cover the decision that matters most to a media buyer, and there is nothing to run. Budget for the highest price in the category and estimate your event count before you pick a tier.
You run a store or your own site and just need conversions attributed and fed: AnyTrack. No-code setup, Shopify and 90-plus network integrations, and its own click ID make it the simpler route when campaign ROI is not the point. Size the plan above your peak sessions so the automatic overage stays small.
You host your own pages and checkout end to end: look at ElasticFunnels alongside them, with the newness caveat above in mind, and keep a dedicated tracker or feeder for any traffic that lands on domains it does not host.
Voluum is our default pick here because most readers weighing these two are buying paid media and want to know which source made money with their costs synced in. For the store owner who only needs conversions attributed and fed everywhere, AnyTrack is the better and simpler fit, which is why it still earns a place in our ranking well behind Voluum. The full field sits in our head-to-heads.
Voluum
What works
- The default recommendation for Meta and native affiliate traffic, so setups and integrations are well documented
- Fast redirect and reporting infrastructure that holds up at volume
- Anti-fraud and traffic-distribution rules come standard
What to watch
- The most expensive mainstream tracker: $119/mo billed annually to start, $299 to reach 5M events
- Event overages are billed on top, so costs are hard to predict as traffic grows
- You pay for polish you may not need if your funnels are simple
AnyTrack
What works
- No-code setup. You connect the tag and your ad accounts from a dashboard instead of standing up a server-side Google Tag Manager container.
- Server-side and client-side tracking run together, so a blocked pixel or an iOS restriction does not silently drop the conversion.
- Feeds conversions back to seven ad platforms through the Conversion API, and covers 90+ affiliate networks, ecommerce platforms and CRMs out of the box.
- A real free plan and a 14-day trial with no credit card, so you can prove the tracking before you pay.
What to watch
- Support and billing draw the most complaints. Unanswered tickets and trial-cancellation disputes recur across Trustpilot and PPC threads, so test support inside the trial.
- Thin independent proof. Two reviews on G2 and 3.4 out of 5 from eleven reviews on Trustpilot make it hard to sanity-check against the crowd.
- Session-based pricing with automatic overage. A traffic spike pushes you past your cap and bills $0.40 to $0.20 per 1,000 sessions, and you cannot switch it off on a paid plan.
- No automatic ad-spend sync. Unlike RedTrack or Voluum it does not pull your cost in, so ROI across sources has to be computed somewhere else.
Pricing
Voluum: from $119/mo, billed annually. Profit costs $119 a month billed annually and includes 1M events. Scale costs $299 a month billed annually for 5M events. The pricing page shows no month-to-month figure. Events over the Profit limit bill at $0.06 per 1,000.
AnyTrack: from $100/mo, or free. The free plan costs nothing and covers 5,000 sessions a month, one website, one ad platform and one conversion source, without the Conversion API. Starter is $100/mo for 100,000 sessions, all seven ad platforms, 100+ integrations and real-time CAPI. Personal is $150/mo for 500,000 sessions, three sites, GA4, cross-domain tracking and webhooks. Advance is $300/mo for 3M sessions, ten sites, ten seats and dedicated support. Annual billing gives two months free. Overage runs $0.40 to $0.20 per 1,000 sessions and cannot be turned off on paid plans. Extra websites cost $30/mo on Advance. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial.
