Who Paddle is for, and who it turns away
Paddle is built for software companies: B2B SaaS, consumer software and games. Its own Acceptable Use Policy says it is not a fit for human services or physical goods, and its prohibited-categories list rules out physical products, medical or weight-loss advice, business or investment opportunities, gambling and adult content. For a seller of software or a digital product that is a strong fit; for most physical-product, supplement or biz-opp sellers Paddle will not open an account at all.
“Paddle is built to serve software companies (including B2B SaaS, Consumer Software, and Games). If your company's primary offering is human services (such as consultation, support, or design services) or the sale of physical goods, Paddle is not a good fit for your needs.”
“Prohibited Categories: 1. Physical products or products that require physical delivery ... 15. Medical advice, including but not limited to any product or service that provides advice (e.g., weight loss, muscle building)”
