PageFly review

AI page builder and CRO platform for Shopify stores.

By Dana Rourke, Lead reviewer. Reviewed by Campaign Buyer Editorial. Updated 8 September 2026.

Our verdict

PageFly is the pick if you run a smaller Shopify store, want a capable builder for a low monthly price, and only need a handful of pages live at once. It is the most-installed builder in the category. The catch is the published-page limit on cheaper plans and the front-end weight it adds.

PageFly is the default first builder for a Shopify store on a budget. Plans start at $24/mo, the free tier covers a single published page, and it is one of the most-reviewed apps in the App Store, so whatever you are building, someone has already posted a template or a walkthrough for it. For a store shipping a few landing and detail pages, that is often enough.

It is flexible drag-and-drop that covers product, offer and section layouts without touching code, which is why smaller merchants reach for it before anything pricier.

Two limits keep it from ranking higher for a buyer scaling ads. The cheaper plans cap how many pages you can keep published, and buyers report discovering that ceiling only after launch, when it reads as a forced upgrade. And in a public speed test on a clean theme it added the heaviest payload of the builders measured. For light use it is the value pick. A store running weekly experiments at scale gets more from Replo.

Pros and cons

What works

  • Cheap to start: plans open at $24/mo, and a free tier covers a single published page
  • The most-reviewed builder on the Shopify App Store, so templates, guides and support answers are easy to find
  • Flexible drag-and-drop that handles product detail pages, offers and theme sections without code

What to watch

  • Lower plans cap how many pages stay published at once, and buyers report hitting that ceiling after launch as a forced upgrade
  • In a public before-and-after test it added the heaviest payload of the builders measured, near 350 KB and several hundred milliseconds of mobile load
  • Testing and analytics are thinner than Replo's, so heavy experimenters outgrow it

What buyers keep saying

Cheap to start, but the published page limit bites ↓ common complaint

PageFly is the affordable entry point, but buyers report the free and low tiers cap how many pages stay published, and discovering that after launch feels like a forced upgrade. On raw published-page count, cheaper rivals undercut it.

“the fact that i was able to publish 5 pages and then couldn't make changes to any of them because somehow i now only had 1 publish available after i launched the website was pretty scummy, almost forcing me to pay to save my store”

“Gem offer unlimited publish pages for 30 USD and PageFly only offers 5 for 24 USD.”

Adds the most front end weight in testing ↓ common complaint

In a public before-and-after test on a clean Dawn theme, PageFly added the heaviest payload of the builders measured, roughly 350 KB and five scripts, and pushed mobile LCP up by several hundred milliseconds.

“PageFly: +350 KB added | 5 scripts | +300ms to +600ms LCP increase”
